Why Can’t My Students See What Questions They Got Wrong on a Quiz?
By default, student can’t see the answers after they submit a quiz. This can be extremely confusing to students who want to know what questions they got wrong. It should also curb the amount of emails you get asking for this information.
To allow your students to see the results of the quiz, you have to turn it on for each quiz you make.
- Click Quizzes on the NavBar.
- Find the quiz. Press the dropdown arrow and select Edit Quiz on the menu.
- Go to the Submissions Views tab.
- Click on Default View.
- Scroll down to View Details. Under Show Questions, select the following:
- Yes
- Show all questions with user responses
- Show question answers
- Show question score and out of score
- Scroll down to Score. Under Score, check the box: “Show attempt score and overall attempt score.”
- Press Save.
If you’d only like the quiz results to be available after a certain date or for a limited time, you can change that setting.

- Find the quiz. Press the dropdown arrow and select Edit Quiz on the menu.
- Go to the Submissions Views tab.
