How to Check Feedback From Professors
You can visit the Grades tool to see completed rubric feedback for discussions, assignments, and quizzes. Read on to see the other places you can see feedback on Brightspace.
Assignments
There are three places to see your Assignment grades. The simplest way is to click on Class Progress (under Course Admin). This is where all of your grades will be displayed.
You can also visit the Assignments tool from your NavBar, which is more common.
- On the Navbar, click Assignments.
- From the Assignments page, locate your assignment, and click Unread in the Evaluation Status column.
- From the View Feedback page, you can view your submission feedback, rubric assessment, and grade.
- If your instructor added annotated feedback to the assignment, click View Inline Feedback. The annotation view opens in a new tab, displaying annotated feedback using highlighting, freehand drawing, shapes, and associated commenting.
- To download the annotated assignment as a PDF, click Download.
- When you are finished viewing feedback, navigate back to the View Feedback page, and click Done.
Quizzes
You can your quiz or exam results by using the Quiz tool. Quiz grades and feedback will not be available until they are released by your professor or the date/time they set to have them released.
Your professor decides what information is visible for each Quiz by setting Submission View. The default Submission View shows no feedback.
This video will help you understand how to access your quiz results through Submission View.
If you can’t see the results of your quiz, like the questions that you got wrong, notify your professor.
