Microsoft Authenticator Setup
Purpose: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) increases the security of your Microsoft account. These instructions explain how to set up MFA using the Microsoft Authenticator App.
- During your first login, you will be prompted to set up MFA as part of the account security requirements.
- Go to your device's app store (Play Store for Android or App Store for iOS) and download the Microsoft Authenticator App.

- Once installed, Follow the on-screen instructions on your computer by clicking Next.
- On the MFA setup prompt your will be asked to setup Microsoft Authenticator. Click Next.

- On the next screen a QR code will be displayed. Return to your phone and open the Microsoft Authenticator App.

- In the top right of your screen Tap the "+".
- Select "Work or school account" and scan the QR code displayed on the MFA setup screen.


- Once your account has been added to the app, Microsoft will prompt you to test the authentication method.

Approve the notification sent to your Microsoft Authenticator app.

After completing this step, the process is finished. You can now log into your account.
